When a tree is in a confined area or close to a property, straightforward tree felling is not an option. Instead, we carry out tree dismantling. This involves taking the tree apart piece by piece using specialised devices and lowering systems.
We are experts at tree dismantling and have the specialised equipment required to do the job safely and efficiently. This includes a lowering system, saws designed for larger jobs, plus access to cranes for lowering the largest pieces of wood, and elevated platforms such as cherry pickers for access to trees that cannot be climbed safely.
Safety first
Our owner Alan Tibbs holds an NVQ Level 2 in arboriculture and a Royal Forestry Society (RFS) certificate in arboriculture. The rest of the team are trained at least trained to NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) level, and all have first aid certificates. Our lifting gear undergoes regular Loler inspections to ensure it is operating safely.
It’s our priority to make sure even the most difficult-to-access trees are dismantled safely and efficiently, with minimum disruption and no risk to residents or those nearby. We have the qualifications and experience to make sure we get it right every time.
Trust the experts
When arranging for tree dismantling to be carried out, it’s important to put the work in the hands of someone who is properly qualified and experienced. We’ve been in business since 2000, so we have many years’ experience of tree dismantling. We draw on this to make sure we offer sound advice and carry out the very best job for our clients.
From the initial consultation to planning the job and getting it done, we make sure we maintain a professional approach, work to a pre-agreed timescale and deliver complete and lasting results – see our section on stump removal to learn how we prevent regrowth.
